New Glassacre Album To Be Released

After some pressure, Glassacre have finally caved in and announced their new album, to be released mid April 2007. We can’t tell you the title because as of now they have about 10 possible titles and will have to use some form of Mongolian Witch Doctory to determine which to go with (a dart and a paper list).

What we can tell you though is that we’ve heard the rough mixes and it is sounding splendiferous to say the least. We can also tell you that the band has collaborated with songstress Chloë March who has worked her vocal magic on two tracks.

We’ll post some track previews as things get closer.

My Majestic Star "Fining" Ep Official Release

Hidden Shoal Recordings, today announced the official release of the EP, “Fining”, by Australian ambient rock outfit My Majestic Star. “Fining” is the follow up to the wonderfully received My Majestic Star debut album, “Ideas are the Answer” which appeared in the Luna Kafe Top Ten Albums of 2006 list as well as recently receiving a shining review in Stylus Magazine.

“It is the subtle narrative crafting that makes “Fining” so special. Songs, turn so gently as to make you unaware that you have been left somewhere far different from where you started. Structures are allowed to fall into themselves then pick up again with new binding and direction.” – Press Release Excerpt.
